Butler, Butler Co, PA

He was reared upon the homestead farm, and afterwards learned the brickmaker's trade, and manufac­tured the brick for one of the first houses erected in the borough of Butler. He was a member of the English Lutheran church of Butler, and a pioneer of that society.
