General Notes: Husband - Samuel Cook

He resided on a plantation his father gave him. It was part of the land taken up by Samuel Fulton, and was situated on the old Peter's road about one mile north of Maytown, Pennsylvania. He was a justice of the peace, and a member of the Legislature in 1801. He owned several slaves, all of whom he manumitted in his will, dated 1804. His sister married James Willson, who purchased his farm.
