General Notes: Husband - Hugh R. McClimans
He was of Scotch descent, born in Virginia and came to Pennsylvania in his earlier years. After his marriage they first located in Butler County near North Washington. About 1828 they moved to Mercer County and located on a farm of 100 acres in West Salem Town-ship, which was known as the Sheriff Scott farm. He was a Democrat and he and his wife were members of the United Presbyterian Church.
