General Notes: Husband - John D. Fulton
He received a common school education, and farmed until the age of thirty-six, when he took up the carpenter trade. He superintended the erection of many of the buildings in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, following this occupation until 1899, when he removed to North Irwin and retired from active business. He filled the office of assessor, school director and treasurer of North Irwin borough, simultaneously, but owing to ill health, which culminated in his death, was forced to tender his resignation. Mr. Fulton was in Kansas during the Border riots, but left the state at the heights of the trouble, owing to the illness of his father.
