General Notes: Husband - Chalmers Fell
He attended school and worked on the home place until he was twenty years of age, when he engaged in farming on his own account. The old homestead, by the way, is styled the “Pleasant View Farm,” commanding, as it does, a section of ten miles over the beautiful Pymatuning valley and into Ohio. Mr. Fell later returned to the old homestead and conducted a dairy in connection with general farming operations. For eight years he engaged in lumber operations in the south and was interested in a flouring mill at Orangeville, Ohio. He was a communicant and a trustee of the Baptist church, with which he was identified for thirty-five years. In politics he was a Republican, and in fraternal matters was connected with the Masonic order, which he joined in 1874, being a member of Eureka Lodge at Greenville.
