General Notes: Husband - James Dowling Fullerton
His early years were spent at Brookville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, where he received a common school education. In young manhood he began the study of dentistry with Dr. Lowrie, of Brookville. He remained with him for several years, and in 1873 came to Ridgway, Elk County, where he practiced his profession. He was the first dentist to locate in Ridgway and open an office, and had the reputation of being at the head of his profession in this part of northern Pennsylvania. For several years prior to his death, however, he was unable, on account of illness, to follow his profession closely. He was a member of Elk Lodge, No, 379, Free and Accepted Masons, and Elk Chapter, No. 230, Royal Arch Masons, both at Ridgway. For a number of years, he was a justice of the peace at Ridgway. He was a Democrat. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Ridgway.
