General Notes: Husband - Casper Fausold


He was a native of Germany and immigrated to Bedford County, Pennsylvania, from which he soon removed (1818) to Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, where he lived and kept a hotel on the farm later owned by Rev. Woods. He was a democrat and a lutheran. He and his wife had one son and three daughters.

He emigrated from Germany to Bedford County, Pennsylvania, from which he removed in 1818 to Mount Pleasant township. He kept a hotel on the old "Clay pike" and his farm was long known as the Fausold place. He was a shoemaker by trade and a Lutheran in religious belief.
