General Notes: Husband - James Cooper Eyster
He grew up and was educated in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and for some time was associated with his brother, J. Alison Eyster, in the dry goods business in Chambersburg. In 1872 he was appointed to a very responsible position in the United States mint in Philadelphia and removed his residence to that city. He continued in that position until the time of his death.
