Walter Lund Exley
Walter Lund Exley, 82, of Knox died Wednesday after­noon in Allegheny Manor at Shippenville.
Born November 20, 1905, in Beaver Township, Clarion County, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth Eger Exley.
He was a farmer most of his life and worked in the oil fields during his earlier years.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Knox RD 2.
Surviving are three brothers, Homer Exley, Harry Exley and John Exley, all of Knox; three nieces; three nephews; eight great-nieces; and four great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Exley was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kaber and Edna Switzer.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm today in the William N. Rupert Mor­tuary in Knox.
Funeral services will be con­ducted at. 1 pm Friday in the funeral home. Rev. R. Dawson Tomes, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Interment will follow in St. Paul Union Cemetery.
