John H. Klingler
John H. Klingler, 86, died at 4:00 p. m. Wednesday at his home, Knox R. D. 1, following an illness of several months' duration.
He was born on May 2, 1856, in Clarion county, the son of Peter and Lydia Ashbaugh Klingler. He was a farmer and had made his home in Salem township his entire life. On October 19, 1882, he married Rachael M. Exley, who died 21 years ago.
Mr. Klingler was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church of Knox R. D.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Minnie Weeter of Sligo, Lloyd S., Lawrence, O., and J. Wiley Klingler of Knox, William C., Harry F., George W., and H. Oley, at home, and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p. m. Saturday in St. Paul's church with Rev. C. T. Hays officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
