General Notes: Husband - William Ewing


He was of Irish descent and died when his son Alexander was a babe.

He was one of the oldest settlers of Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He used to ford the Conemaugh river and attend church at Hannahstown. He would always carry his gun to protect himself from the Indians.
