General Notes: Husband - David Frampton
He was born in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He lived in Mifflin County in 1804, married and moved to Armstrong (now Clarion) County, Pennsylvania, near Reidsburg. He came on horseback with wife and four sons, including the baby Samuel, who was then about eighteen months old. He secured a tract of wild well-timbered land, and there founded a homestead, the original Frampton home in the county, although later his father, sisters and families came.
