He was an electrician and had an electrical supply house in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He and a partner under the firm name of The Indiana Electric Company and did all kinds of electrical wiring throughout the county. Among their larger and later contracts was the wiring and furnishing electrical goods for the new Moore Hotel, Indiana County Poor House, State Normal school and new public school buildings of Indiana, Pennsylvania.
