General Notes: Husband - William English
His early life was spent in the lumber woods and on the Allegheny river, and as time advanced he developed the land into a good farm. The oil production also helped him. He always took a great interest in all town affairs in Kinzua, and held various of the township offices. Both he and his wife were prominent and respected members of the M. E. Church, and contributed largely of their means to its support. He was a firm Democrat.
