General Notes: Husband - Jacob Endres
He was born in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and received a common school education. He grew to manhood on the homestead farm in Jackson township, Beaver County, and in 1875 assumed control of the farm, his father retiring. Politically, he was a Republican, and filled the office of school director. He was also a director in the German Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Zelienople, and was a member of the Farmers' Alliance. Both he and his family were connected with the Evangelical Lutheran church of Zelienople.
