General Notes: Husband - Robert Allen

He was the youngest son of a family of thirteen children. He was fortunate in his boyhood, as he was given a good education to fit him for the station of a country gentleman. After his marriage and the birth of his first son, the family met with reverses, and he came to the United States, settling in Beaver county, Pennsylvania.

He was in his early manhood when he emigrated to the United States and settled in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He found no difficulty in obtaining employment, and was one of the force of workers on the railroad in Rochester, Beaver County, when he died.
