General Notes: Husband - John Flinner
He was born in Germany, came to the United States with his parents, who settled in Lancaster township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, where John grew to manhood. He attended the common schools of Lancaster township and worked on his father's farm until the death of the latter, when he inherited a portion of the original homestead. He later also owned another farm of 108 acres in Muddy Creek township. Politically, he was a Democrat, and filled the office of supervisor.
