General Notes: Husband - Jacob Keiser
The borough of West Milton, Union County, Pennsylvania, was established by the Keiser family on land which had been held in the family since 1836, when Jacob and his wife came from Northampton County, their native place. They settled on a farm, whose fields, once covered with abundant crops were later built upon by the settlers in the thriving little town.
He was a man of great force of character, a Republican in politics from the organization of that party, and was prominent in the community, holding various local offices.
He and his wife were both consistent members of the Lutheran Church.
