General Notes: Husband - Albert E. Pyle

He was educated in the public schools of Waynesburg and Uniontown, Pennsylvania. After completing his education he served an apprenticeship at the carpenter's trade with his father for five years, and then spent eight years traveling. He was in West Virginia for five years and in Pittsburgh three, all the while following his trade. He then moved to Uniontown, Pennsylvania, where he then resided. He was an expert hardwood worker and specialized principally as a stair builder. Later he took up contracting.
He was quite an accomplished performer on the flute and for some years was playing in the orchestra of the Disciples of Christ Sunday School. Originally the orchestra consisted of but two pieces, but eventually, through the efforts of Mr. Pyle, they had fourteen instruments. He was a supporter of Republican principles and a member of the Christian church.
