General Notes: Husband - Samuel Eby

Being the eldest in his father's family, he remained at home assisting in their support, during a few winter months attending the common schools. In politics he was a Democrat, and he was a member of the National Guard.
In March, 1868, he and his wife settled on a farm in Walker township, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
