General Notes: Husband - Hon. William Findlay
He served in the Pennsylvania Legislature, and became State Treasurer in 1807. He was elected Governor in 1817, and was a Senator of the United States, 1821-27.
He was the fourth Governor of Pennsylvania under the Constitution of 1790, from December 16, 1817, to December 19, 1820.
