General Notes: Husband - John Spanogle

He accompanied his mother [from Baltimore, Maryland?] to Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, after his father's death, and remained some time with her in the fort at Huntingdon. Here he married, and settled in Huntingdon County, first near Spruce Creek, afterwards at Warriors Mark.
He served in the Continental army during the Revolution, but passed his life principally in farming. He died at the age of ninety-three, leaving a property consisting of three valuable farms in Huntingdon County.

All of his sons married, and their descendants went west, except two of those of Samuel, who resided in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
