General Notes: Husband - Dr. Robert John McMichael, M.D.
He was born April 24, 1850. [HVC 1919, 1075]
He was primarily educated in the common schools of Clay Township, Butler County, PA, and in West Sunbury and Dayton Academies, after which he attended Grove City College. He later attended Wooster College, in Ohio, and received his professional training in Cleveland. After receiving his degree he engaged in practice at West Sunbury, where he continued for two years, then went to Eau Claire.
He was born at Euclid, Butler County, PA, where he was reared and acquired his early education, later attending Grove City College and Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia. He commenced practice at West Sunbury, but after three or four years at that location removed to Eau Claire, where he spent practically the rest of his busy life, building up a large practice. After his wife's death he removed to New Castle, Lawrence County, PA, but remained only two years, returning to his old home, where he died. He had a farm in Venango Township, Butler County, which he rented, his son John operating the place at the time of his father's death. [CAB, 1075]
