General Notes: Husband - Henry Earhart
When two years of age his parents removed to Conemaugh township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He wagoned from Holidaysburg to Blairsville, and sometimes from the latter place to Pittsburgh, and returned, for three years. He also boated for four summers on the Union line of canal boats, Henry and Peter Graft, proprietors. He ran the Jupiter No. 1, the first boat of the line, on its first trip. He farmed for sixteen years on a farm in Plum creek township, Armstrong County, which he had purchased of James McGaughey, Sr. He and his family then removed to Cowanshannock township, in same county, and resided on the farm later occupied by Jacob Kroh, on Pine creek, until 1872, when they removed to near Marion, Indiana County, where he died.
