General Notes: Husband - Peter Hickman




He and his father came from Maryland, about the year 1794, to South Fayette township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and died leaving a large number of respected posterity.

He came to America about 1790, settled in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and purchased 200 acres of land in South Fayette township.

He came to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, [from Frederick, Maryland] in 1772. [HAC 1889 II, 414]

He was a Whig, and he and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church.
