General Notes: Husband - William Dunlop
He sat as a Ruling Elder in the Presbytery of Tyrone, Ireland, in 1712, and at an advanced age emigrated to America with his family-a wife and four children-prior to the year 1730, first locating at Donegal, now Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
As early as 1730 he petitioned the Court of Lancaster County to recommend him to the Governor for appointment as an Indian trader. He moved from Donegal to a farm adjoining the town of Shippensburg, where he died (his granddaughter, Elizabeth Simpson, said at the age of 115).
