General Notes: Husband - William Orr
He and his wife were natives of County Derry, Ireland, who had landed at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1837, a short time prior to the birth of their son, Joseph D. In the following year they removed to Clarion County, and, in 1839, located in Jefferson County, on what became the site of Corsica, where he converted the heavily-timbered land into a good farm. He and his wife were both members of the Presbyterian Church.
