McDonald, Washington Co, PA

He attended school until he was about 14 years of age, when he learned the trade of a stone mason and followed this trade for about ten years. He then went into the bakery business at McDonald, in which he continued until 1900, when he retired for four years. In 1905 he entered into the milk, butter and egg business.
He and his wife were members of the First United Presbyterian Church at McDonald. In polotics, he was a Prohibitionist.
