General Notes: Husband - Joseph Warren Minteer
He remained on the homestead and obtained his education in the local public schools. For three years following his marriage he continued agricultural pursuits, and then turned his attention to merchandising, in February, 1908, embarking in the general mercantile business at Craigsville, PA. He has built up a profitable trade and has won respect and esteem in the community by his honorable methods. He became postmaster at Craigsville in 1908.
He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. He was an Odd Fellow, belonging to Craigsville Lodge No. 836, and in politics he was a Democrat.
