General Notes: Husband - Thomas S. Dumars
His boyhood days were spent on his father's farm, and his early manhood in agricultural pursuits. In 1846 he began keeping hotel in Mercer, Pennsylvania, removing to Meadville in 1849, where he continued in the same business till 1852, when he came to Greenville and opened the St. Charles Hotel. From 1857 to 1882 he lived in Jacksonville, Illinois, where he was engaged in farming and milling. He then returned to Greenville.
