General Notes: Husband - Charles Feicht

He was born in Wittenburg, Germany, and came to the United States in 1854, aged sixteen years. He learned the trade of butcher and for twenty-one years operated a meat market in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. During the oil excitement he moved to Parker, Pennsylvania, and after his marriage in 1878 settled at Parkers Landing where he operated a meat market. [GPHAV, 1023]

The family all belonged to the Lutheran Church. Fraternally he belonged to Lodge No. 244, F. & A. M., of Kittanning. During the Civil war he was a member of the 22nd Pennsylvania Regiment of Emergency Men, and served for three weeks, or as long as the occasion demanded. His political convictions made him a Democrat. After coming to America, in 1854, he made three trips back to his native land.

He was born in Wurtemberg, Germany. [HAC 1914, 489]
