General Notes: Husband - James Trimble

---

He was a member of Captain George Matthew's company at the battle of Point Pleasant. During the Revolutionary War he was captain of Rifle Rangers.
Jane Allen was his second wife.
In 1783 he, with his family and many others, removed to Kentucky, and settled in Woodford County. He liberated his slaves and was about to remove to Hillsboro, Ohio, when he died.
