General Notes: Husband - Joseph A. Doyle


of the well known firm of Brice, Higby & Company, proprietors of one of the great glass works at Homestead, Pennsylvania.

He was born at what later became Hays Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; was reared in Pittsburgh, where he served an apprenticeship at the glass-workers' trade, and for over fifty years was engaged in the manufacture of glass in Pittsburgh and vicinity. He became a resident of Homestead in 1873, and reared a family of five children.
