General Notes: Husband - James Emmet Lawson
He was educated in the schools of Somerset and Ligonier, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. For many years he conducted the business of a carriage-maker, and later was the proprietor of a wholesale tobacco store in Greensburg. Subsequently he went to Salt Lake City, where he worked at his trade of carriage-making, afterward migrating to Oakland, California, and there conducting a grocery business. Later he resided again in Ligonier, Pennsylvania.
