General Notes: Husband - Samuel T. Reynolds
His educational privileges were such as the district schools of the county afforded, and upon the home farm he early became familiar with agricultural pursuits, remaining under the parental roof until he had attained the age of twenty-three, and assisting in the arduous task of clearing and developing the farm. Although he traveled quite extensively over the United States, he always resided in the vicinity of Reynoldsville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, with whose interests he was actively connected. He was the owner of one of the finest business blocks in the place, and was for some time engaged in the hardware trade. On October 30, 1897, Mr. Reynolds opened a store in Reynoldsville containing a full assortment of dry goods and notions. He was also engaged in the real-estate business.
