General Notes: Husband - David Allen

He removed about 1743, to Monmouth County, New Jersey, where he acquired a large tract of land lying along the north shore of Squaw River. He was a man of great energy, and as a pioneer laid the foundation of Monmouth County, which at that time included what is now known as Ocean County, on the south side of Squaw River.
