General Notes: Husband - James Elliott

---

He was four years old when brought to America, the youngest of the family. He married and settled on the family homestead, where they lived in what was really a block house, a necessary protection in those days against the Indians. Here all their children were born except the youngest son, John, who was born in the log house built about 1781.
