General Notes: Husband - Rev. Robert James Dodds


His early life was spent in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he obtained an excellent education, although he never received a college diploma, and was an exceptionally brilliant Hebrew scholar. For fourteen years he was a missionary in Latakia, Syria, whither his wife, whom he had married in Butler County, Pennsylvania, accompanied him, and later moved to Aleppo, where he died.
