General Notes: Husband - James L. Dixon
He came to Butler County, Pennsylvania, when aged twelve years, and after his marriage moved to Parker's Landing, where he bought and cleared a farm, on which he continued to reside until 1865, when he sold out and returned to the old homestead in Penn Township, Butler County. He, at one time or another, held every public office in the township. He was an outspoken Republican and a close student of public affairs.
