General Notes: Husband - Samuel Eddy
He resided in Middleboro during his entire life on lands which he inherited from his father.
The Eddys throughout their line have been of robust and manly build, almost all of the male line being six feet or over. Samuel, however, might be called the Sampson of the race. He was a giant in muscular strength. He was disappointed on one occasion at the size of a load of cedar logs he had ordered and made the comment, "I can carry that load on my back." He bound the logs into a bundle and proceeded to do so, thereby astounding the teamster who gave him the load.
