General Notes: Husband - Christopher J. Rose

---

He purchased the old homestead of his father and spent the major portion of his life there. He later removed to Greensburg, Pennsylvania, where he established himself in a grocery business, which he successfully conducted for about two years. At the end of that period, he retired from active life and returned to his farm, where he lived at leisure until his death. He was actively identified with church work and was President in the Middle Church at Greensburg. He served on the Board of Education and gave much of his time to the work of that body.
