General Notes: Husband - Eli Diefenderfer
He attended school until sixteen years of age, and then for a time worked the old homestead farm of two hundred and thirty-three acres on shares. After his father’s death he purchased a farm of his own. He was a Democrat, and served his township as a supervisor. He and his wife were members of the Lutheran church.
