Mrs. Mary Dickson.
Mrs. Mary (Irwin) Dickson, wife of John Dickson, died at the family home at Polk at 9 o'clock Monday morning. She had been in poor health for a number of years but her condition was not considered dangerous until but a short time before her death. She had been around the house as usual yesterday.
The deceased was aged 77 years, having been born in Sandycreek township September 6, 1846. She had lived in Polk most of her life. Surviving are her husband and the following children: E. S. and W. P., of Oil City; J. N. of Columbus, O., and J. H. of Polk. Mrs. Hannah McClelland, a daughter, died about 12 years ago. She was the wife of G. C. McClelland, of Franklin. The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church, but for years on account of ill health had been debarred from attending services.
The funeral arrangements will be made later.
