He was married and lived in the village of Blooming Grove, Morrow County, Ohio, adjacent to the farm where he was born. In 1871 Doctor Harding moved to Caledonia, a neighboring town. Here he remained eleven years. When he had fully gained his stride as a physician and man of various enterprises, he located permanently in Marion, a growing, enterprising town.
