General Notes: Husband - James N. Eakin
James H. Eakin had the misfortune to become crippled when six years old, but led an active and prosperous life. He was proficient in music and taught that art; was in partnership with his brother at Eakins Corners for twenty years; and for at least six years was a hardware dealer at Grove City, Mercer County, where he made his home. He continued to own his share of the old home farm.
