General Notes: Husband - William C. Irwin
He passed his early youth and manhood on the home farm, and was educated at the public schools of the neighborhood of his birthplace. He married and brought his bride to the home of his boyhood. Beginning in early manhood he was engaged in agricultural pursuits, and he came to own one of the best farms in Canton township. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church at Washington. Politically he was a Democrat, active and zealous in the interests of his party.
For a long period he was one of the large sheep growers of his section, raising annually as many as 250 head, his preference being for the Black Top Delaine as superior in wool. He was a well informed man and took a very active part in politics.
