General Notes: Husband - Walter Alexander
He was appointed Captain in the Fourth Maryland Battalion of the Flying Camp in July, 1776. It is believed that his death resulted from service injuries.
The graves of father and son, distinctly marked, are side by side in "Head of Christiana" cemetery, just east of the New Munster tract and within the Delaware line.
