Going then to Conneaut, Ohio, he worked at his trade there for four months, thence back to Greenville and worked three months, then to Polk in Venango County, where he worked at his trade for nineteen months, and then returning to Greenville bought a lot and built a home and worked at his trade there for Solomon Leach four years, and then for Leach and Smith two years. During that time he built another house. In 1899 he went to Youngstown and worked at his trade there for one year, and then back to Greenville, where he resumed his trade and lived till 1906, when he then traded his city property for a farm and thereafter farmed and worked at his trade.
