General Notes: Husband - James Dunn
In 1828 he settled where the borough of Sheakleyville, Pennsylvania, was later located. He entered the service of the United States in the War of 1812, at the age of twelve years. By occupation he was a carpenter, and was engaged for many years at that trade. He was burgess of Sheakleyville, and filled the office of postmaster for eight years, and was a prominent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of that village.
