General Notes: Husband - Caleb Woodward
He was a native of Scotland [sic], and soon after his marriage, came to America, first locating in Chester County, Pennsylvania, afterward moving to Brownsville, Fayette County, where he conducted a mill for many years. He was a strong advocate of the principles embodied in the Whig platform, and in religion was a member of the Society of Friends.
He removed to Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1804, and remained there till his death. He was a miller by occupation.
